Incoloy series alloys are divided into three types, Incoloy800, Incoloy800H, and Incoloy800AT. The alloy is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that resists high temperature oxidation and high temperature carburization.
he nickel content of the alloy is up to 32%, so it can resist the stress corrosion cracking of chlorides and has good corrosion resistance σ The precipitation of phase is not sensitive. The alloy has excellent uniform corrosion resistance. Under the condition of solution treatment, 800H and 800at alloys have excellent creep and stress cracking resistance. The above three kinds of 800 alloy have been listed as structural materials in ASME Boiler and pressure vessel code, section I power plant boiler, Section III nuclear power boiler and Section VIII unfired pressure vessel code.
The chemical compositions of 800 and 800H, 800at alloys are the same except that the carbon content is different, and there are 1% aluminum and titanium in 800at alloy. 800 alloy is generally used at about 593 ℃. 800H and 800at alloys are commonly used where higher creep and stress cracking resistance is required at temperatures of about 593 ℃.
